a simple key

is something that my brother has on his keychain and has had for over 20 years. this is the key to the mens bathroom on the 55th floor of tower 2. he showed our neighbor this am at breakfast as we shared my dads pancakes. i didnt know he had it, or kept it. it made me tear up. the memories of that day 20 years later still haunt me and my family. it is my brother who is the strongest of us all. as i sit here drinking coffee on my porch, i am again reminded, we are lucky to be Americans. we are blessed to live in this amazing free country and forever grateful to those that serve and have served. be kind to one another and live every day to its fullest and hug those you love. we are blessed to be here, and free. #neverforget
