respect

'bout to get preachy... i honestly feel that we can solve all of our problems with one word; respect.

if we have respect for ourselves, our elders, our superiors, our subordinates, our children, our nation, our world, we will rise above all.

the lack of respect throughout our everyday lives really upsets me. it can start with you, please let it start with you. i make an effort every day to be kind and respectful, it is not easy, but i try. i smile (masks have been SUPER difficult for me), i hold doors, i address people by name and thank them. i will thank anyone, and i mean anyone, in a uniform.

a little additional kindness and respect, can and will go a long way. going forward, let's all be a bit more respectful.
